OVER EXPOSED IMAGES

An over exposed image, where all the colours are bleached out, sometimes can be made usable using basically the same method described for under-exposed images but changing the mode to multiply.

Again a selected part of the image can be altered in a layer.

There is less possibility of correcting grossly overexposed images as the data just is not present. If you are lucky you may be able to recover some detail from 2 stops over exposure.
