Altering part of the curve

If you double click on a point on the curve you lock that point so if you select two points you can move the curve between those points to adjust the contrast of that part of the tone range. Do not worry if your curve is no longer the classic ‘S' curve so long as you get the result you want.

You can use the eyedroppers to colour correct an image. The LH one will balance the image from a D-max point, the center one from a mid-grey and the RH one from a D-min point
