Try playing with curves to get strange ‘arty' effects. Remember all the above examples have been done in RGB, by checking the arrow to the side of the channel box you can apply effects to just one or more individual channels.

The very modified curve for the blue channel is shown. The other channels were similarly adjusted to achieve the desired result.
