One of the most basic things you can do to ease post processing is to standardise on a workflow. These guidelines are my way of working; modify them to suit your working patterns and you'll find you will have more peace of mind when doing complicated manipulations.

On pages 4 and 5 are the details of my workflow's which are slightly different for RAW and Jpeg. Remember these work flows work for me, you may need to modify them to suit you.
